KD tilted her head as Liv said she wouldn't go without Callie, that was some comfort, it seemed the sisters were close, and Callie didn't seem too keen on meeting with Azazeal, well, at least it seemed if she didn't she wasn't one to be convinced, she seemed to have the more dominant personality of the two girls. Though, even if they went together, it would still be dangerous.

She smiled gently and nodded as Liv said it had been an accident. "I know." She said gently. Interesting was not the word that KD would have used to describe what she thought of the demon, arrogant, was probably a better word. Ignorant to his environments, too caught up in his powers.

KD thought about what the girl said about mental hospitals and frowned slightly. So they had told someone who didn't believe in magic, so could see the logic in the other persons actions, though, it hardly made the torment she imagined forgivable. She closed her eyes and looked away at the mention of shock treatments and shuddered slightly with Liv.

She swallowed and licked her lips, looking around carefully before she said anything more. She looked at Liv and put a hand palm up next to her waist, she made sure her body, Liv's body and bookshelves were blocking it from anyone else's view.

"My family have elemental powers through-out our entire history." She said in a hushed voice. She looked from Liv's eyes, down to her hand and closed her brown eyes. After a few moments she opened them again, and they flashed a deep blue, a small collection of water started to hover above the palm of her hand. Her eyes seemed to mimick the blue swirly water, it was no more than half a cup of water, but it swirled around in a drop like shape above her palm.

Liv watched KD with hope in her eyes, the only stronger feeling there, was the obvious struggle to believe her. It at first seemed no one would be a suitable mentor in magic, now here were two others with abilities. As the water drop formed, she dropped her jaw. She worked hard to resist asking the obvious question of how, biting her lip.

"Really?" She whispered, knowing enough to keep her voice down, she started to reach out to touch it, but stopped herself. "I don't know anyone but Callie and I. We tried to find out things ourselves, but it''s hard without asking and winding up right back where we started."

She sighed. She wanted to trust someone.........but who? Azazael seemed so confident, but here was KD being level headed. She gave a faint smile. "That's really neat."

She knew her and Callie could make things float, but they couldn't make water out of air. Nothing with elements. This was something different.

KD closed her hand and the water ball disappeared. She cleared her throat gently and looked around. Her eyes had returned to their warm brown and she looked back to Liv and nodded.

"Neat, and a little nerve wrecking when you're all alone in a strange place." She said gently. She took a deep breath and swallowed. "The world of magic can be much more than anyone might expect, even without facing any enemies, things can get dangerous." She thought about the danger her own family presented to itself and closed her eyes for a few seconds.
"I don't promise to know how to teach you anything, but, I do know I don't trust that... demon... Azazeal..." She said in a hushed voice.

"And I don't think two young witches like your sister and yourself should trust him either." She added.

Liv looked back up at KD as the water ball disappeared. She nodded, slowly about the dangerous bit. Even if she hadn't experienced true danger yet, common sense said it would find them all. She wasn't surprised KD didn't trust Azazael. But she was obviously a witch who knew her powers well. Liv and Callie weren't, so things were a bit less clear.

Unsure of how to respond, she decided to focus on another part of what KD said. "Maybe not. Who taught you?"

The girl shifted her backpack onto her other shoulder, looking around. She was happy she'd found someone who was willing to talk to her about all of this, and show her things if she was able. She had none before and now had two. She should have felt lucky, but was filled with dread. She wanted to know, but wasn't sure if the risk was worth really trusting wither of these two 'mentors'.

KD thought for a few moments before she answered. "My grandmother taught me everything I know." She said, at least until disaster struck. "Like I said, my entire family." She shrugged a little and then swallowed. She looked at the girl and let got of a sigh.

"I can't imagine how it would be for you and your sister." She said quietly, her face frowning with an empathetic look.
"My family had history, we had books, knowledge." These girls seemed to have only each other, and they both seemed to be desperate to find out more about what they were going through, about what was happening to them.
KD could understand their motives, she just hoped they thought hard about their choices. The thought of them going to meet Azazeal worried her, and for some reason, made her stomach churn.

Liv shakes her head sadly. "We had no one, just us. We ended up pretending we were lying to get out of the institute."

Her voice is quiet and thick with emotion. It was obviously still a fresh wound, though it had been a few years back. "Callie and I have been waiting for something like this. An answer. Now that we might have it, I.....just don't know what to do."

She shakes her head as if to clear it, speaking quietly. "I've read the books here, they aren't alot of help. I can't do what you just did."

She looked up blinking. This was a weird day, things were going so well, but now she was doubting everything. She bit her lip, thinking. "If we went, you would go too, right?"

KD put a hand on Liv's shoulder and smiled gently. She could hear the emotion in the girl's voice, and she could understand, almost, how hard it would have been for the girls.

"Perhaps we can talk better in an interview room." She said quietly after Liv had stopped speaking. The last question was something that made her worry, so she started to lead the girl into the one of the empty study rooms.

She unlocked the door with her keys and then held it open for the girl to enter. She looked at the girl and licked her lips.
"I would certainly not trust two young girls, let alone girls with uncontrolled gifts, go anywhere to meet with a strange male demon on their own." She shook her head gravely, her face showing her distrust of the demon they had met earlier.

(sorry took so long hun)
