Iaeka nodded once as he spoke, but otherwise held that slightly amused but bored look on her face. It seemed to be her neutral face...considering this was another demon she was talking to. Hard to tell which want's to try ripping pieces off. She smiled about the fast food comment. Now...how much to tell him?

"Food aside, as fun as that is, I'm here on a sort of mission." Her smile slid to a smirk, full of much meaning. "These Americans...they have no real respect of the truley powerful...be it angel or demon. They belive in next to nothing beyond money. While that suits some...I just feel it to be wrong." She shifted position, adjusting her hair...or at least pulling it down from the shadow's. "They need to be reminded of us...properly."

She caught him with a sharp look though, smile still stuck on her face like a mask. "Interesting time?"

Carefully, Japeth watched her, trying to get a feel for the things not everyone saw looking at someone. Poker players did as such, to check for ways to tell if the player had a winning hand or a dud. It was similar to that but more.

Her explanation made sense enough. He knew alot of demons felt that way, including himself. It was effecting some American demons though, making them a bit soft around the edges with the few who did worship demons. The wind ruffled his crimson locks and he relished it's icy bite.

Was one good thing about the surface world. Not much of the Pit was cold like Earth could get. He nodded as Iaeka finished up.

"It's not just Americans, but the problem is worst here. Demons used to be more respected and more feared than any creature in Heaven or on Earth. Modern times have made them numb, and less afraid. They either don't believe, or are so desensitized they don't care. It's why I've come here. To bring that fear and reverance back."

He returned the look she gave with a half smirk. "Very interesting time. How long have you been in Shaya Falls, Iaeka-kun?"

Iaeka smiled. Sounded like her...good. "Looks like we are here with similar goals in mind." She looked up, eye's gone mostly back to normal by this point. "I just got here...maybe a day or two. Haven't even found a place to stay yet."

She caught up her hair and twisted it deftly into a knot up top her head, securing it with yet another ribbon, this one a slash of bright, darkish red. She gave him her cute face, only her sardonic smile offset against her otherwise charming context. "Don't suppose you'd have a spare room, Japeth-sama? Talking so much out in the open could be bad for business."

Japeth had a wide grin now. This seemed to be going better than he could have hoped. He played it cool enough though, no need to get overzealous. That was when things went wrong.

He looked about the park, the area they were in looked very deserted. It seemed the human male had picked a part of the park that wasn't frequented often for his......demented behavior. Still he caught sight of a jogger coming closer. Soon they would be seen, and so close to a soon to be dead body. Not good.

"You're right we should move on." He began as he walked towards the nearest exit of the park. "Ieaka, I do have a place. I just purchased a house not far from here. It needs to be furnished still aside from my bedroom, my assistant's rooms, and the common room. If you wish to stay with me you may ,of course, you will have to kick one of my assistants out of their bedroom, until a proper bedroom can be furnished."

He was amused at the idea. Phorus especially wouldn't be, as he seemed the submissive of the two. "Let us walk."

Iaeka gave a rather bored look about before nodding. Probably wise advice to move on, though it did mean not watching the human drown in the water eventually. She sighed, but had to let it go. "That would work fine. I thank you."

She slid into step with Japeth, a smile on her face. Mask to not frighten the nice human's, really. She had to wonder over how oblivious most were to the danger's of breathing. She let him lead her on, out of the park.
